Structure Of Semi Gantry Crane
Main Beam: The main beam is in the shape of single main beam and two main beams structure. One end of the main beam and the cross-section rectangular cross-section and the lower cross-member are bolted, and the other end and the upper cross-member are also bolted to facilitate disassembly.
End beam: Semi gantry crane only has one end beam.
Legs: The legs are welded in the form of a box structure. The force is concise and clear, and the appearance is elegant.

Lifting mechanism
The lifting mechanism of a crane is used to lift the loads, generally adopting winch. It is the most important and basic mechanism in the crane, the working performance of the whole crane is directly affected by the working state of the lifting mechanism. The components of the lifting mechanism are compact and easy to maintain.
Lifting mechanism is generally composed of driving device, wire rope winding system, fetching device and safety device. The driving device comprises an electric motor, reducer, brake, drum, and coupling, etc. The wire rope winding system consists of wire rope, drum, pulley and hook. The fetching device has various forms such as hook, grab, electromagnetic chuck, etc. Safety devices include overload limiter, lifting height limiter, overspeed protection switch and safety brake, etc.
The working principle of the lifting mechanism:

Running mechanism
The running mechanism is the power device to drive the trolley. In order to ensure the synchronicity of the driving wheel of the trolley and avoid equipment failure and safety accident caused by the track biting of the trolley, the running mechanism often adopts low-speed shaft centralized drive.
Power supply for trolley: Single pole type trolley wire is used for power supply, and the power status indicator needs to be installed.
Power supply for crane: Powered by cable. The trolley’s power supply is mounted on the conductive side.
Working power AC380V (85%-110%) 50HZ
The cranes are respectively equipped with power circuit, a control circuit, and an auxiliary circuit. Each terminal in the control cabinet is arranged at the front to facilitate maintenance. Each terminal is marked with a corresponding wire number sign, the inner wall of the conduit is smooth, and the outlet of the hard pipe and electrical equipment enter the line mouth installed rubber protection sleeve.
The electric cabinet is installed on the lower beam; the cable-controlled remote switch is not allowed to operate remotely during remote control.
Hoist cable traction device is I-beam and pulley, traction rope is stainless steel.
Description Of Main Components
Hook
- The design and manufacture of the hook comply with 10051-1988 standard.
- The hook is forged single hook, which is forged by DG20
- The hook is provided with a hook mouth latcher to prevent the lifting weight from being unhooked by accident.
- The ratio of diameter of pulley to diameter of wire rope is greater than 29 to ensure the service life of wire rope.
Motor
- We adopt the special motor produced by the experienced manufacturer in the motor industry. YZR series motors are selected for the lifting mechanism and running mechanism, which have the reasonable structure, reliable performance, excellent quality, large overload capacity and high mechanical strength.
- The insulation grade of the motor is F. the motor has good tightness, and the protection grade is IP54/IP55.
- Electrical protection system: The crane is equipment with short-circuit protection, voltage loss protection, zero position protection, over current protection,etc.
- Wire and cable: All the cranes are made of insulated wire and cable with copper core and multi-strand. Protection devices are provided in the parts with mechanical damage, chemical corrosion or oil erosion.
Installation And Inspection Of Semi Gantry Crane
Installation
The installation of the gantry crane shall be implemented according to the agreement signed by both of us. We can provide installation service, and the fee will be determined by the buyer and seller. When the buyer is responsible for the installation, we can provide installation guidance service. The fee also should be determined in advance.
No matter who is responsible for the installation, a professional commander and a safety supervisor are supposed to be on the scene in case of installation errors. The rest of the installer can decided in line with the scale of the project. The installer must have the installation certificate. In addition, a feasible installation plan must be submitted before installation.
After the installation of the crane, the equipment shall be into trial operation, rectifying and debugging the non-conformance items to meet the use requirements of the crane and relevant standards of the crane.
Inspection
The initial inspection will begin when the equipment is transported to the installation place of the buyer. The staff of the buyer will verify and confirm the structure, size, components and the quantity of the products.
After the installation and debugging of the crane, the load test of the crane can be carried out in line with the requirements of the buyer. The acceptance personnel of the buyer and the seller should approve the working conditions of the crane and the size of the crane after the installation, and fill in the acceptance report.
